A Celebration of Love

The love shined brightly and warmly on this frigid Valentine’s Day at the annual valentine blood drive event.  Many records were broken as our generous community came out in full force to donate blood, volunteer and raise money for pediatric cancer research.  INOVA was able to collect 231 units of blood – that has the potential to save up to 693 lives! And our bake sale raised over $1500 for The Truth 365.  These numbers surpassed our amounts from all our previous blood drives!

We can not say thank you enough to our wonderful community and sponsors for coming out to donate blood, your time and your baking talent to support this drive.  This Valentine’s Day truly was a celebration of love!

For those that were able to donate at our drive, the next eligibility date for a whole blood donation is 4/10/16.
